Membership-related details, such as your participation in our Slack community or in local events.
Technical information automatically collected by our website, including IP address, browser type, device information, and access times. This is collected primarily by Squarespace and Google Analytics.
3. Why We Use Your Data and on What Legal Basis
We only process your personal data where we have a valid legal basis under the GDPR.
We use your information to review membership applications, manage your membership, and provide access to our Slack community and local events. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR).
We may contact you with welcome emails and other information directly related to your membership. This is based on our legitimate interest in ensuring that the network functions properly and that our members are kept informed (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).
If you explicitly consent, we may use your contact details to send you additional information, including invitations to events and community updates. In this case, the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). We use the double opt-in procedure to confirm your subscription, and you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Technical data is processed automatically by our hosting provider to ensure the security and proper functioning of our website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and user-friendly website (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).
