Tonje Ørnholt
Driven by curiosity and a belief in the power of strong ecosystems, Tonje Ørnholt is passionate about connecting ambitious founders, international investors, and the Nordic innovation landscape. She is particularly focused on climate tech and on creating the relationships, structures, and opportunities that help transformative ideas attract capital and scale.
As the founder of ØRN Advisory, Tonje works at the intersection of investor relations, fundraising, and strategic ecosystem development. She supports investors and organizations in navigating the Nordic startup landscape and helps connect international capital with promising companies across the region. In parallel, she serves as Venture Partner for the Nordics at Ada Ventures, supporting the firm’s expansion and engagement across the Nordic markets.
Previously, Tonje spent five years as Head of Investment at the City of Oslo’s Business Development Agency and Oslo Innovation Week. In this role, she led initiatives designed to strengthen Oslo’s position as a startup and investment hub and worked closely with founders, investors, public institutions, and international partners.
Her path combines philosophy, design thinking, leadership, and strategy – disciplines that shape how she approaches complex challenges and builds bridges between people and ideas. As a supporter of Nordic Web Ventures Fund III, a startup mentor, and an alumna of the European Supernova Business Angel Academy, she is an active contributor to the Nordic venture community. Through Women in Climate Tech, she is committed to building a strong and connected Nordic community for women shaping the future of climate innovation.
