Rebecca Mills is the founder of The Lever Room, New Zealand’s leading science-based sustainability and carbon impact advisory firm. An award-winning strategist, she specializes in delivering initiatives with proven impact. 

Recently, Rebecca and her team implemented a new carbon-certification approach. They have also been building remote-sensing tech to enhance and simplify carbon sequestration measurement.

Previously, Rebecca was shoulder-tapped to co-design the strategy for The B Team alongside Sir Richard Branson and Jochen Zeitz: a group of business leaders advocating for business practices more centered on humanity and the climate. Before that, she worked on large regeneration sites in her role as Principal of Sustainable Development for the UK’s Environment Agency.

She holds a masters degree in biosphere science and impact measurement training from Saīd Business School, Oxford. She currently lives and works in Grey Lynn, Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland.
